Desktop publishing software

Documentation is an important part in localisation projects, and usually contains the largest amount of words of all material. The most efficient way to present these texts is by using desktop publishing software that allows to present text, graphics and images on a way that is attractive to the user. For over two years now, I have been working with the following packages:

- Generating table of contents
- Placing graphics
- Automatically exporting content using Story Collector for Indesign and reimporting after translation
- Updating links, producing PDF and managing fonts

- Adobe PageMaker 7:

- Automatically exporting content using Story Collector for PageMaker and reimporting after translation
- Updating links, producing PDF and managing fonts

- Quark XPress 6 Passport:

- Corel Draw 11:
